The City of Cherry Hills Village is a home rule municipality located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 6,442 at the 2020 United States Census. Cherry Hills Village is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. The city had a total area of 4,017 acres (16.255 km2) including 48 acres (0.194 km2) of water.
Cherry Hills Village is located at the west end of or beginning of Interstate 225. The city can be accessed by Interstate 25 and then west to Belleview Avenue. The city is at the southern end of Denver, with Englewood immediately to the west. It also is bordered by Greenwood Village to the south and Centennial to the southeast.
Major roads in Cherry Hills Village are Interstate 25, U.S. Route 285, Colorado State Highway 88 and Colorado State Highway 177. US 285 runs west and east and forms a natural border to the north while SH 88 is to the south. University Boulevard becomes SH 177 as it enters from the north to the city and crosses over US 285 and SH 88. Quincy Avenue serves as main street and bisects the city horizontally.
Cherry Hills Village has a country club namely Cherry Hills Country Club. Other parks and green spaces include John Meade Park, Three Pond Park, Dahlia Hollow Park and Glenmoor Country Club. Little Dry Creek flows into the city to the west and High Line Canal to the east. Places of education in Cherry Hills Village include St. Mary’s Academy, Kent Denver School, and Cherry Hills Village Elementary School, One of the many elementary schools that is a part of the Cherry Creek School District.
